Update 0.0.1 - Tons of Progress
Welcome Castlers!
Willo here, with the help of Luke to deliver the first devlog for the project! The rest of the team have been hard at work to deliver a product that we love to everyone. With that being said, let's dive into the first section of our devlog.
TOWERS
While being one of the most tedious parts of the tower defense development process, our towers are near completion! We currently have a fully modelled Mage Tower, as well as a Ballista tower. Soon, more variety will come to these towers, and our Tar Tower will be modelled.

ENEMIES
We've been hard at work to deliver threatening alien forces that will raid the end objective, now having many of the enemies in a fully functional state. Each enemy has its own unique stats, such as movement speed, weapons, armours, etc. We soon plan to have the models for the base aliens within the game, all wearing unique armours and weapons to attack your defenses.
MAPS
The section that has taken us the longest time! We've developed four maps, each with a grid made of hexagons. A UFO can be seen, coming in and creating a path toward the home base using a laser. From there, the enemies can traverse the paths, and the players can place towers around them. The future for the maps is mostly visual, getting fun map pieces implemented as well as details such as a portal for the aliens to come out of. On top of that, we plan to have our mechanic of the aliens creating secondary paths come in soon.
